Sista Strut Louisville is bringing the community together on Saturday, September 12, 2026, for its 10th annual 3K walk supporting breast cancer awareness, education, and community support. The event highlights the impact of breast cancer on women of color while bringing survivors, families, friends, and community members together for a day focused on health and wellness.
The event will take place at the Norton Healthcare Sports & Learning Center in Louisville, with a rally beginning at 8 a.m. and the 3K walk starting at 10 a.m. Sista Strut gives attendees an opportunity to come together, show their support, learn more about breast cancer awareness, and connect with organizations and resources in the community.
At Kentucky Marijuana Card, we’re proud to participate in Sista Strut Louisville this year. What Is Sista Strut Louisville?
Sista Strut is a breast cancer awareness event created to bring attention to the importance of early detection and health education, particularly among women of color. The event also recognizes breast cancer survivors and provides an opportunity for the community to come together in support of those affected by breast cancer.
The Louisville event features a 3K walk and rally where participants can show their support while connecting with others and learning about health and wellness resources. By bringing community members and local organizations together, Sista Strut helps encourage important conversations about health and provides a space for support and awareness.

Patient evaluations will not be available at Sista Strut itself. However, if you’re interested in getting started, we can help you find an upcoming evaluation date at one of our statewide patient drives and explain the next steps.
Medical Marijuana Resources for Kentucky Patients
Kentucky’s medical marijuana program provides eligible patients with access to medical marijuana through the state’s regulated program. To use marijuana legally and purchase medical marijuana from licensed dispensaries, patients must complete an evaluation with a licensed medical marijuana practitioner and register with the state.
At Kentucky Marijuana Card, you can schedule your medical marijuana evaluation appointment directly with our team. During your appointment, one of our qualified marijuana practitioners will evaluate your condition and determine whether you qualify for Kentucky’s medical marijuana program. If you qualify, we can then help you complete the state application process and explain what to expect at each step. Our team is also available to answer questions and provide support throughout the process.
Kentucky medical marijuana registrations must be renewed annually to maintain access to the program. We offer renewal evaluations through telemedicine for our existing patients, making it convenient to complete your renewal without visiting us in person. After your renewal is submitted, the state can take up to 30 days to review and approve it, so we recommend starting the renewal process early to help avoid an interruption in access.
