Kentucky’s medical marijuana program continues to grow, and events like the upcoming Kentucky Cannabis & Wellness Expo allow patients and community members to learn more about the program.

The Kentucky Cannabis & Wellness Expo will run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at Central Bank Center in Lexington, and is open to the public. You do not need a medical marijuana card to attend. The event is designed to bring patients, prospective patients, healthcare professionals, marijuana businesses, and community organizations together for a day of education and resources. 

Our team at Kentucky Marijuana Card will be at the Expo for the entire event, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., evaluating both new and renewal patients at a discounted rate. Our team will also be available throughout the day to answer questions and help patients better understand Kentucky’s medical marijuana program and the certification process.

What to Expect at the Kentucky Cannabis & Wellness Expo

The Expo will give attendees a chance to learn more about Kentucky’s medical marijuana program and connect with those working throughout the state’s marijuana industry. The event will include educational panels and discussions, along with exhibitors representing dispensaries, cultivators, processors, marijuana practitioners, and other organizations.

Whether you are already a registered medical marijuana patient, renewing your card, or simply trying to understand how the program works, the Expo can be a helpful place to get information and have your questions answered.

One of the biggest benefits for patients is the opportunity to learn about getting and maintaining a Kentucky medical marijuana card. The event will include resources for both residents who are considering becoming patients and current patients who are due for their annual renewal.

You do not need a medical marijuana card to attend the Expo, and no marijuana products will be sold or distributed at the event.

Kentucky Marijuana Card Will Be at the Expo

Kentucky Marijuana Card will be at the Kentucky Cannabis & Wellness Expo to help patients complete the medical marijuana process.

Our team will be evaluating new and renewal patients during the event. Our licensed practitioners will be available to evaluate eligible patients and answer questions about Kentucky’s medical marijuana program. Our team can also help patients understand the certification and application process so they know what to expect.

If you are approved during your appointment, we will help you submit your medical marijuana application to the state after your appointment is complete. This makes it easier to complete the process without having to figure out the state application on your own.

At the Expo, we will be offering $25 medical marijuana certifications for eligible new and renewing patients. There is also a separate $25 state application fee required when submitting an application to the state.

If you are interested in getting evaluated at the event, pre-booking your appointment is strongly encouraged because spots can fill up quickly. We do accept walk-ins, but patients who do not have a scheduled appointment will likely have to wait until a practitioner is available. Reserving your appointment ahead of time helps secure your spot and makes it easier to plan your visit to the Expo.
