Who Is Hosting These Events?

The patient drives are a collaboration between Kentucky Marijuana Card and Dark Horse Cannabis.

Our team at Kentucky Marijuana Card will be offering on-site evaluations from our mobile clinic. Our mission is to make the certification process as fast, affordable, and stress-free as possible for patients.

Dark Horse Cannabis, the company behind Speakeasy Dispensary, is helping to build Kentucky’s medical marijuana program with a focus on patient care, education, and accessibility. Speakeasy is preparing to open its Lexington location soon, and their team will be present at the event to answer questions and share details about the patient experience they are creating.

Danville Patient Drive | Friday, September 12, 2025

• Time: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM CT

• Location: Holiday Inn Express & Suites, Danville

Patients in and around Boyle County will have the chance to meet privately with our state-licensed nurse practitioners to complete their medical marijuana certification.

The process is quick, typically taking only 15 to 20 minutes. Our team will be on-site with our mobile evaluation bus, providing patients with a convenient way to get certified.

Evaluations will be heavily discounted and offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

Patients can be seen either inside our mobile clinic, one at a time for privacy, or inside the dispensary by our licensed nurse practitioners. To guarantee your spot and avoid waiting, patients are encouraged to pre-book an appointment ahead of the event. 

Lexington Patient Drive | Saturday, September 13, 2025

• Time: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM CT

• Location: Speakeasy Dispensary, 1849 Alysheba Way, Lexington

Lexington patients will have the opportunity to complete their certification at this special patient drive event.

Evaluations will be available directly from our mobile evaluation bus, where our team of licensed nurse practitioners will be seeing patients 1 at a time throughout the day.

The event is also hosted at the future home of Speakeasy Dispensary, which will soon open its doors as one of Kentucky’s first medical marijuana dispensaries. Patients will get a preview of what to expect when Speakeasy officially opens. Dispensary staff will be there to fill patients in on what to expect as soon as dispensaries open.

Just like Danville, evaluations will be offered at a discounted rate. While walk-ins are welcome, we strongly recommend pre-booking your appointment to secure your spot and make your visit even smoother.

What Patients Can Expect

When you arrive at a patient drive, the process is simple.

Start by checking in with your valid photo ID and any medical records you wish to provide. From there, you’ll meet privately with one of our licensed doctors inside the Kentucky Marijuana Card bus.

If you qualify, you’ll leave with the paperwork needed to receive your Kentucky marijuana card.

In addition to receiving your certification, you’ll also have the chance to connect with the team at Speakeasy Dispensary and learn more about their upcoming opening.
